Manikewan is a prairie and wetlands province within the Nation of Galros. It has an area of approximately 916,100 sq. km, of which almost 10% of which is fresh water, composed mostly of rivers and reservoirs, with the southern part of the province being covered by over 10,000 glacial lakes.
Manikewan is bordered on the west by Gregovia, on the north by Dekannota, on the east by Watomi, and on the south by the nation of Captuage, divided by the Ferenz River. As of late 2017, the population of Manikewan was estimated to be 3,104,282. Residents primarily live in the northern and central portions of the province, while the southern third is marshy and sparsely populated. Of the total population, roughly half live in the province's largest city, Miskask (Mis-skatch) (700,839), the provincial capital Levina (leh-Veen-ah) (540,568) or the southern transportation hub King George (known to locals as KG) (100,510). Other notable cities include Bag-of-Bones, Fort Karlford, Yanton, Herrylmiser (Harrel-My-zer), Cummingtonite, and Choiceland. Manikewan is a landlocked province with large distances to moderating bodies of waters. As a result, its climate is extremely continental, rendering severe winters throughout the province. Northern areas have very warm or hot summers. Southern areas have warm and wet summers as a result of precipitation from the glacial lakes.
